ASUS Releases the new ASUS ZENBOOK™ Prime UX31A and UX32VD Ultrabook in Nordic

    Following the success of original ZENBOOK™, ASUS ZENBOOK™ Prime (UX31A) and ZENBOOK™ (UX32VD) delivers the world’s most advanced ultrabook PCs. UX31A and UX32VD boasts a unique artistic ultra-thin and ultra-light design, enhanced with 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor, fast SSD storage, and a top-grade Full HD IPS panel. It gives users access to 2-second instant on resume and 2-week standby as well as ASUS SonicMaster audio while weighing just 1.3Kg (UX31A) 1.45Kg (UX32VD).

    ADVANCING ULTRABOOK PERFORMANCE

    Built for unmitigated HD multimedia in a lean and efficient form factor, UX31A and UX32VD employs new 3rd generation Intel® Core i7™ processors based on Ivy Bridge technology. With powerful integrated HD 4000 graphics and enhanced multitasking capabilities, it enables improved performance with an even further reduced power draw. UX32VD is also able to switch over to a discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 620M graphics card for more intense multimedia demands. For expedited data transfers UX31A has a SATA 6Gb/s SSD which is four times faster than mechanical hard drives. The UX32VD applies a hard drive/SSD hybrid solution to combine the speed from SSD and the storage space of a HDD. USB 3.0 completely replaces USB 2.0, operating up to ten times faster while maintaining complete compatibility.

    SMARTPHONE-LIKE RESPONSE AND LONG RANGE USAGE

    Acting on one of the main promises of the ultrabook concept, ZENBOOK™ gives consumers spontaneous response, with 2-second instant on resume from sleep mode. It can sustain an extended 2-week standby period in S3 mode and an impressive 200 days in S4 mode, with special guards to prevent data loss during that time. Its greater energy efficiency also translates into a 7-hour battery, allowing users to continue working and enjoying even when away from recharge points.

    INTUITIVE HIGH-END MULTIMEDIA ENJOYMENT

    To foster better ease of use and accessibility, ASUS has added an optimized multi-gesture touchpad to ZENBOOK™ Prime, resulting in greater freedom of interaction. Its one-piece chiclet keyboard features backlighting for easier computing in low-light conditions, as well as an attractive visual effect.
